Physical Therapy in West Los Angeles

Physical therapy at BodyPro Chiropractic & Sports Medicine is led by Dr. Brian Noor, PT, DPT — rehabilitation built around a simple question: what do you need your body to do again? Run a marathon, return to the field, lift your kid, or sit through a workday without pain. We assess where you are, build the plan that gets you there, and measure progress against that goal.

Who Physical Therapy Is For

  • Athletes returning from injury — from high school to professional level
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation, once cleared by your surgeon
  • Running and overuse injuries — Achilles, hamstring, knee, plantar fascia
  • Chronic pain that has not responded to rest
  • Anyone whose mobility or strength is limiting daily life

How Care Works

1. Assessment

Movement screening, strength and range-of-motion testing, and a thorough history. We look for the driver of the problem, not just the sore spot.

2. Mobility

Hands-on treatment and targeted exercise to restore the motion the injury took away.

3. Strength

Progressive loading on real equipment — because tissue that is loaded is tissue that holds. Corrective exercise is built in where movement mechanics are part of the problem.

4. Functional rehabilitation

Rebuilding the actual movements your sport, job or life demands — not generic exercises off a sheet.

5. Return to activity

A graded return to sport or work against objective criteria, so “you’re cleared” is a measurement, not a guess.

Physiotherapy and Chiropractic, One Plan

Physical therapy (also called physiotherapy) and sports chiropractic run as one shared plan here, under one roof. Joint treatment, soft-tissue work including Active Release Techniques, shockwave therapy and Tecar where the evidence supports them, and hyperbaric oxygen for recovery — without being referred around town or faxing records between offices.

What a Visit Involves

One-on-one time with your therapist, hands-on treatment, supervised exercise in our training space, and a home program that changes as you progress. Visit length and frequency depend on your evaluation — we will tell you up front what we think it will take, and we do not run open-ended visit plans.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a referral for physical therapy?

In California you can start physical therapy without a physician referral in most cases; if you plan to use insurance, your plan may have its own requirements. Call us and we will walk you through it.

Physical therapy or chiropractic — which do I need?

Often both, and sometimes just one. Your evaluation answers that honestly — the point of having both under one roof is that you get the right one, not the one that was available.

How many visits will it take?

It depends on the injury, how long you have had it, and your goal. After your first evaluation you will get an estimated plan and timeline — and the plan ends when the goal is met.
